Presentation Templates

Please download the official templates for oral and poster presentations. All presenters are required to prepare their slides according to the provided formats.

Presenters Guideline for

Plenary Sessions, Paper Presentations, Workshops/Panels and Tutorials
Presentation Format Requirements
  • Please use the official MedInfo 2025 Oral Template
  • File format: PowerPoint (.pptx) or PDF
  • Slide size: 16:9 widescreen
  • Cover slide must include:
    • Full presentation title
    • All authors and their affiliations
    • Presenter’s name
    • Date and location (Taipei)
  • All slides must include the presenter's name in the header or footer
Submission Process
  • Do not email your presentation
  • Bring your presentation on a USB flash drive to the Preview Room (Room 202, 2nd floor)
  • Preview Room hours:
    • August 9–12: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
    • August 13: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Important: Submit your presentation at least 2 hours before your scheduled session.
  • Your presentation will be stored in a central system and distributed to the appropriate session room.
  • We recommend testing your presentation in the Preview Room to ensure everything displays correctly.

This process ensures that all presentations are properly formatted, tested, and distributed to the correct rooms before each session.

  • If you prefer to use your own laptop for presenting:
    • Bring your own HDMI adapter (such as USB-C to HDMI)
    • Arrive early to test the connection in your assigned session room
    • Session staff will be available to assist with setup
    • We recommend testing the connection before your session begins to avoid technical delays
Special Instructions for Mac Users
  • If you prepared your presentation on a MacBook:
    • For the smoothest experience, save your presentation as a PDF file on your USB flash drive.
    • Review your PDF presentation in the Preview Room at least 2 hours before your session.
    • This prevents formatting issues that can occur between Mac and Windows systems.
Presentation Durations
Parallel Session
  • 90 minutes for each Parallel Session, with 6 presenters in one session.
  • Each presenter is allocated 15 minutes: 10 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for Q&A.
  • The staff will signal the speaker with a "3 minutes remaining" and a "Time's up" sign.
Workshop
  • 90 minutes for each session.
Panel Session
  • 90 minutes for each session.
Tutorials Session
  • Can be scheduled as either a half-day session (3 hours) or full-day session (6 hours, with breaks) as part of the conference program.
  • Tutorials will not be offered if fewer than 15 attendees. Please note the adjustment is necessary.

Poster Session Schedule

Each poster will be displayed on an assigned board during one of the following sessions:

Poster Presentation Requirements
  • Mandatory Poster Attendance: All poster presenters MUST be present at their posters during the dedicated time (13:15–14:00) on the day their poster is presented.
  • Optional Additional Times: Presenters are encouraged to be available during:
    • Morning break (10:30–11:00)
    • Afternoon break (15:30–16:00)
  • During these dedicated times, conference participants will be specifically directed to visit the poster area, which will provide maximum visibility for your research.
  • When not at your poster, consider leaving a printed copy of your abstract, business card, or a QR code linking to additional research information.
Poster Printing Options
  • It is recommended to print your poster in advance.
  • If needed, the conference provides a printing service:
    • Location: Preview Room (Room 202, 2nd Floor)
    • Accepting Files: August 9–11, 08:30–12:00
    • Pickup Time: After 13:00 the following day
    • Price:
      • ▪ Pay by cash: 1,500 NTD for 90 cm (W) × 120 cm (H) poster
      • ▪ Pay by credit card: 1,600 NTD for 90 cm (W) × 120 cm (H) poster
    • Requirements:
      • ▪ Bring your file in PDF format only on a USB flash drive
      • Cash payment only (if not paying by card)
      • ▪ Printing begins only after payment is completed
      • ▪ Please arrange printing services in advance
Poster Format Requirements
  • Download the official MedInfo 2025 Poster Template
  • Poster board dimensions: 100 cm (W) × 200 cm (H)
  • Recommended poster size: Maximum 90 cm (W) × 120 cm (H)
  • Adhesive tape will be provided on-site.
    • No paste, glue, thumbtacks, or staples are permitted.
  • All posters must be in English.
  • Use large font sizes (20 points or larger) for primary text.
  • Use even larger fonts for headings.
  • Include your paper title, author's names, and affiliations centered at the top.
  • Consider printing copies of your 1-page abstract with a QR code/link to share with interested participants.
